Digital Media BA (Hons)
Overview and Rankings
A Deep Dive Into Digital Media
Combining academic knowledge with practical experience to prepare graduates for a wide range of digital media careers.
BA (Hons) Digital Media is delivered by TKH’s School of Design and Media as a Coventry University award, taught in full at the Coventry University Branch at TKH in the New Capital.
The programme blends creative and technical practice around digital storytelling — spanning 3D modelling and animation, code as a creative medium, immersive technologies such as AR/VR, and audio/video production — and is designed to respond to rapid change across media and networked communications.
Students work project-led throughout, building a portfolio across three years that culminates in a Final Major Project.
Study Themes
What You’ll Learn
You will master the following topics during your study at this programme journey.
Our successful Digital Media graduates will be confident, adaptable creative-technical practitioners, equally at home theorising digital culture and producing it.
They will demonstrate a strong grounding in media and communication theory alongside practical fluency across digital storytelling, immersive design, and creative-critical production, moving comfortably between 3D and 2D visual development, code as a creative tool, and audio-visual media.
Graduates will show individual, collaborative, and professional working skills honed through project-led studio practice, transmedia narrative development, and digital marketing and content creation, and they will be able to critically evaluate the wider social, cultural, and industry contexts in which digital media operates — equipping them to work sustainably and imaginatively across an evolving digital and technological landscape.
